And on the other end of the phone is, um, the voice of a man.

And I was like, I recognize his voice.

I was like, Tim, he goes, Ruben.

And he's like, where are you?

And I just said, what the fuck was that?

He's like, what are you talking about?

I said, don't give me that shit.

You know exactly what I'm talking about.

And at this point, like his crisis comms brain starts clicking in, like everything he's been trained up on to deal with things like the ball tampering incident, you know, start playing out and he's just denying, denying, denying.

So I made it very explicit for him.

I said, you jerking me off on your fucking bed is what I'm talking about.

And he just tried to play it off like nothing had happened.

He had the nerve to invite me back upstairs and say, come have a drink, let's sort this out.

And I just told him, fuck off, hung up and started walking.

Yeah.

Like I was just seeking safety at this point.

I was like, you know, clutching onto anything, like get me out of this room.

I can still like visualize the look on my face in that mirror, which is, yeah, it was afraid and shocked and all of it, which like, so like after that, like I'm out in the street and I'm just trying to go somewhere safe.

So this is about like a quarter to 6 a.m.
