She was the counsellor.
She was the worker at Rape Crisis at the time.
I said, my name's Kate Rowe.
She said, you're Kate Rowe?
And she knew me.
She was a friend of mine.
So they came round with the dog and then they sorted it out, took me to hospital.
Because the case, the person was still there.
He'd fled.
The place was a mess.
And there was a backyard, which is where we think he came in.
And it was more protection, not only for me, but for them as well.
But they took me to the hospital and I got the best counsellor in the world.
And she told me I had 48 hours to report it to the police.
And in retrospect, I
Had I not been in trauma, I would have actually done it straight away because there would have been more chance of catching him.
But I waited that 48 hours and then I said to the counsellor, OK, I want to go to the police, which was on the Monday.
This happened in the early hours of Sunday morning.
They did.
They got evidence.
