His kids speak about how fantastic his sermons were, how much they appealed to young people.

And the text of his sermons is about love, is about how to live as a full human being and in a rich way.

Look, it's common with all armies that soldiers develop a unique ethic for their situation.

They're asked to do things that you're not supposed to do in civilian life.

That's right.

That's right.

And Dexter is one of this band of soldiers who are going, we're in a unique situation.

Our country has called on us to achieve this goal, but they haven't provided all the resources that we need.

And so stealing, not reckless stealing, but purposeful stealing to achieve the goal was ethical.

killing the enemy was ethical.

Looking after the wounded, both your own and the enemy, was sacrosanct.

And soldiers develop this new ethic to cope with the unique and extraordinary circumstances in which they're placed.

And Dexter shows that.
