Alonzo Barnett is about to take a snap.
We're just calling a spade a spade here.
This game is over.
So we're going to do the hurry up now.
This is one of those things where they do like, isn't it when they would do like Monday night football on a Saturday, they would still call it like Monday night football and still do that.
That's kind of what we're doing here.
Right.
Yeah, look, we're not calling that a gridiron classic as far as that's concerned, but I do think that if you watch this game and you didn't take away the fact that both of these defenses absolutely kicked ass in this game, I think you're doing it wrong.
I think that what A&M was able to do on third down to this Miami team especially was Mike Elko at its best.
I mean, they were throwing absolute gas in third down pressure packages in this game.
I thought that from Miami's perspective on defense, I thought what Akeem Mesidor and Reuben Bain were able to do with a
composed rush on Marcel Reed time and time and time again.
I mean, how many times have you watched somebody rush Marcel?
And it happened in this game, too, where somebody rushes Marcel Reed, gets too far upfield, and Marcel Reed goes out the gate.
Yes, it happened in this game, too, because Reed's a tremendous athlete.
But for the most part, Miami took care of business, penned him in, and frankly, I think forced him to be a real boy as a passer in a way that kind of exposed that A&M passing game.
That A&M passing game is not really built to drop back and matriculate.
There's an explosive play there.
factor that they can have and want to access, but they were not able to... It's not like Miami was either, but they were not able to really drive down the field here and do the things you wanted to do.
I mean, yes, sloppiness on special teams.
