As you mentioned, there's a huge Latin American presence in the Jays.
I'm Latino myself, so I like to throw in that spice in the mix as well.
There are always, like, requests here and there for songs, like... I mean, depending on the mood.
Like, for example, a few weeks ago, I did the 90s...
Y2K weekend and there was a lot of Spice Girls, a lot of Backstreet Boys.
So it's fun to have a theme.
It's fun to go off of that.
It's fun when I don't necessarily mind when Soul Power tells me, hey, just draw from this for this weekend or for these games.
It gives me a little bit of a challenge to kind of own in and build like sets based off of that that isn't necessarily close to what I play in other environments.
No, I don't ever want to keep that energy low because I want to keep people in the stadium.
I don't want them to leave either, right?
So you still want to keep the environment fun and upbeat for everybody.
I don't necessarily have a go-to song for those moments.
I think I would just go to some of the bigger hits, like something like Drake is really big right now.
So I would go into something like Drake just to keep people kind of like, oh, I know this.
Oh, I love to hear this.
And just staying around, grabbing another drink, and just staying engaged with the environment.
Yeah, this is definitely a very important weekend for me.
Not only is it kind of like the anniversary of when I became a part of the Jays rotation for the DJs, I very much have a lot of close ties with the queer community.
I've done a lot of events with the queer community, and it's an honor to be a part of that lineup for that weekend.
