I knew I had to move forward. And therapy. That's my other piece of advice. The first thing I did was I said, I'm going, I'm finding a therapist. I'm going twice a week for a year, which I know is a lot of therapy, but I've seen so many people. be in a similar situation and it take them a really long time to heal.

And I felt like, you know, I was with this man for the majority, almost all of my twenties. I didn't want to waste any more time. And I wanted to be able to heal and, and take, you know, take the next step to be happy. I was miserable for a few years there and hiding it. I was like, I don't want to waste any more time not being happy. Cause that's really what it is.

Honestly, I am having fun. And look, there's with anything in life, there's pros and cons, right? Like I do want to have a partner and settle down and do all this stuff, but we, our life expectancy is a lot longer than it used to be. 32 is young. I'm not in a rush whatsoever.

Especially I always say like date, like a divorcee, because I am way more afraid of being in a relationship that's wrong than I am of being alone. And that's not to say I'm not afraid of being alone. I'm a normal person. No one wants to be alone, but I'm enjoying it. And also there's way more people that have like been divorced or called off an engagement.

I mean, the timing, she got divorced right around the same time that I got separated and I was like, okay, she's making it, she's making it cheap. And honestly, I thought it would be, I thought dating would be harder. I thought more like, I thought men would care that I was divorced. And yeah, None of them have.
