I can it was 1974 home internationals Scotland England 2-0 Scotland at that time I stayed near Inverness so in those days that was a five hour drive down and back so it was I think it was two on goals actually but we kind of classified it as Jordan and Jimmy Johnson but I think it was Mike Pedrick and Colin Todd but we'll gloss over that well deserved 2-0 win before setting off for West Germany as it was in those days
Yeah, what was the fan culture like back then?
I mean, scary is quite an interesting word because I remember being 11 and thinking, gee whiz, you know, when we score, you know, I remember my dad put me in, I think, in front of a barrier in those days in the terracing so you weren't getting piled on with people behind.
So it was, yeah, the culture was different then.
The Tartan Army sort of evolved into a self-policing, maybe more into the 80s, late 70s sort of thing, you know?
