Yeah, as a goaltender, played for the Hawksbury Hawks, and a couple of years in the queue for the St.

John's Fog Devils.

I was saying before the podcast, I wish I could message my dear friend, Shannon Cody-Shack, former equipment manager,

with the Canadiens' AHL affiliate, because Shaq was with the St.

John's Fog Devils in the queue between 2005 and 2007, and that's when Yezhov was there as the goaltender as well.

39 games in 2005-06, 52 games in 2006-07,

And from there, he made the jump to Russia, played 13 years, I believe it was 13 years in the KHL, had very good numbers in the KHL.

One of his stops for four years, I believe, was St.

Petersburg.

We know that franchise very well.

So he has that background in both the Q in the KHL.

and is fluent in English, French, and Russian.

Most recently, he has retired from his playing career and has been working with Concordia University and U Sports, the goaltending coach for the 2024-25 season, and then most recently this season.
