Well, I think generally, yes.

Certainly, I don't recall anyone who had the Canadians in the top five or six teams in the NHL.

But certainly at the beginning of the season, expectations rose.

Expectations had taken a major bump after last year.

That unexpected, that brilliant run after Four Nations and the Canadians got themselves into a playoffs spot that really nobody expected.

So fans came into this season with expectations.

expecting that there would be at least a second straight playoff appearance.

That was a minimum, and hopefully much more.

Now, that was tempered, and we told you that you have to temper that with the fact that the Canadians were going to add a lot of talent to their lineup, but they were going to get younger.

We knew that.

We knew that they were going to be one of, if not the youngest team in the NHL.

And even the young players who are going into their second year, you're worried about the sophomore slump and all those kinds of things.

So you had to temper the expectations.

And I think this season, they've done much better than most expected.

So that begs the question.

Will Mr. Saturday Evening, yes, Saturday Evening will go by Carey Price's rules as he's the OG Mr. Saturday Night.

Will Mr. Saturday Evening score his 50th against the Devils on Saturday night?

He's going to get there.
