In those three games that he won, the Canadiens scored 13 goals.
They were scoring more than four goals per game to, as I said, outscore his problems.
Having said that, once he got through that, his confidence built back up a bit.
He was solid in that game against the Washington Capitals.
And Marty said he doesn't know anything about goaltending, and so maybe he's relying on other people.
As far as the goaltender who was sent to LaValle, Marty said that decision, the decision to send Fowler, was made collectively between Kent Hughes, Jeff Gordon, and himself.
We also know that if either goaltender falters, there's somebody in Laval who is quite capable of playing at the NHL level.
That's right.
They should.
They get paid a lot of money.
And you want your team to be playing well.
You want choices.
You want good players to pick from to put your roster together and for the coach to put his lineup together.
It is.
It allows maybe some upgrades.
It allows some opportunities.
