Well, you know, at the beginning of the episode, she's she's convinced she doesn't care that she's going to be fine. And what happens is he comes with this woman and she's not fine. Because Max is a kind of character that she's very cut and dry. She's very sort of, there's not a lot of gray with Max. And that relationship, she thought she was fine because she always thinks she's fine. But she wasn't done. And having him there showed her she had to finish this.

She's very vulnerable. And one of the things that that would tell us all the time, which is true, which is any great comedy is grounded in truth and is grounded in some kind of relatability and dramatic situation. Comedy is drama through the prism of humor. Come on. And so what was great about Living Single is we did this a lot, which is you'd be laughing, laughing, laughing.
