And I was pretty clear when I started with the curfew that, you know, the curfew could go if you remember it was in.
The curfew could go as long as they could be shown that they could be trusted to go and do the right thing.
And with what happened in Wellington, they didn't.
So we'll just take that temptation away from them.
No, there's never been a moment where there's been a smash or there's been a time where
where Ben or Brendan couldn't work together or anything like that.
But clearly there's been a lot of conversations backwards and forwards between all of us really about what's the right way for us to go, what's the right way, what's the evolution.
Every year we've tried to evolve somewhere and there's been nothing bigger to try and get that evolution than
Getting beaten in an Ashes series and proving that a few of the things you've done have come up short.
And that's been the process over the last month, really, is making sure that fundamentally we're aligned on which way we want to go.
And both of those, they're two of the better leaders.
Leadership is about lifting up those around you.
Leadership is about making sure that you can get the best out of the people in your charge.
And that's what I think Ben and Brendan are the best at doing.
And it doesn't matter if there's slight disagreements along the way.
And everyone's at a slightly different part of, you know, Brendan's probably, you know, Ben's probably slightly more conservative than Brendan.
You know, that's fine.
It doesn't matter if you don't agree.
In fact,
You don't want people to agree all the time.
