Inherently, I don't really like tariffs.
I don't like government intervention.
I don't like trying to dictate what's gonna happen in free markets.
However, because the way the game has been played, we have been put at a significant disadvantage when you think about countries like China.
When you start taking a look at national security, and I think we've seen this, right?
One of the great things about tariffs
It exposed our weakness in supply chains.
It exposed all the problems that we have to where, hey, we are really relying on China and other countries for our economy to run.
And that's not sustainable.
It's kind of like COVID.
The great thing about COVID is it exposed a lot of problems.
Like, are you going to open up a restaurant today without having some backup for outsourcing or delivery or something?
You're not.
I think what it's done for businesses, and I speak from this from working with real small businesses.
One of our clients who is one of the largest floor distributors in California, about 90% of his supply chain was coming from China.
He had a lot of problems.
Things were backed up.
He had one of the worst quarters in his life.
But you know what?
He figured it out.
