I don't know if that's an exaggeration or maybe I'm misconstruing what he's saying.
What we know for a fact is he was given a life sentence.
You don't plea for a life sentence in the vast majority of cases, I guess, unless the death penalty is on the line.
So what even happened with the plea deal?
