I remember years ago hearing that we have quotas in this country for Australian music, but the most radio stations, I think other than Triple J, will play the Australian music quotas from midnight till six in the morning.
So great.

Yeah, we're all sleeping, except for truck drivers and shift workers.

I don't understand how this has not changed.
I know in New Zealand they have a very healthy music industry.
They really promote their own musicians.
And we are saturated with just American music and UK and culture.
And I'm like, where's our culture?
Where's our music?
And if you're a pop artist, you can't get on a Triple J. You have to be alternative to get on Triple J. So like it's trying to find the right niche to get on radio.
If you're rock and roll, you can't really get on Triple M unless it's very specific.
Yeah, it's really bizarre.
