So you just be calm, and then you watch your people around you calm down.
That calms you down.
Very contagious.
Calm is contagious, so is panic.
That's a very fine line.
Don't be afraid of fear, though.
Fear will make you think more clearly.
I think that calmness is what separates the best leaders from mediocre.
When you get the adrenaline spike and you're calm, you're moving a fuckload faster than you realize.
I got a speaking agency I started called Operators Collective, and I've told my guys, if you have a 45-minute speech to deliver, train for an hour.
Because once you get up there, you're now just talking faster.
It'll be 40 minutes.

Yeah, that's so true.
When you're nervous, you talk a little faster.
When you're nervous to talk faster, don't read your notes.
Don't memorize shit.
And if you forget what you're saying, just start talking about something you know.
Because people don't remember really what you said, but they will remember how you made them feel.
