It's totally reading with what I'm hearing about the situation.

When Hoda left...

They ran a multimillion-dollar ad campaign of Savannah and Craig as the new co-hosts.

This is what they set them up.

This is the job they sold to Craig, that you're an equal.

You and Savannah co-host the show.

And when the biggest news story maybe in the history of the Today Show happens, they give it to Hoda, Craig.

Craig must be rightfully so, not only angry, but really, really nervous.

If you've ever worked at any job and suddenly they stop making eye contact with you, suddenly you're not invited to the meetings, suddenly you're not invited to participate.

That's a real bad sign.

Craig's no fool.

He's been in TV for a really long time.

Craig melted down.

Craig was absolutely hurt by this.

Now, what they're saying to Craig is that we wanted Hoda to do it.

So we can put that story into a box and move on.

So when Savannah returns on the 6th, we can go back to normal is not the right word, but the new normal, I guess, is the right phrase.

And so I'm told they'll start the show off with the two of them at the desk.

There will be a welcome back to Savannah afterwards.

And then they're going to go to the news of the day.
