It's like the sirens going off.

If I just needed to talk, it was him.

When my dad passed away, we were not in a great place.

I wish he would have listened to me when he said he was going too fast.

It's a lot of I wish.

When my mother was arrested, I was like, no, they have the wrong person.

This can't be.

This is the woman who's helped raise me.

No one ever thinks of their parent to be that person.

the puzzle pieces kind of started to fall into place.

After the funeral, I was going through the condolence cards, and I came across one that was from my Aunt Mandy.
