Well, the trouble is when you have players that just want to do what they want to do and you have great players and you say, just go and play, that's okay when you're doing well and they're all playing well and you're scoring goals and you're beating the opposition who sit back and let you play.
The problem is when you're not playing quite so well and that will happen over a course of a season and have bad spells.
What do you do when you're not playing well?
You know, even the team that Stevie played for when Liverpool were at the top.
Yes, they had great players, but when things weren't going well, they had to dig in and they were good defensively and they closed the ball down.
I was watching the game against Monaco and we had an English couple of commentators on the television that I was watching and somebody that hasn't seen them very often said, Real Madrid don't really close down, do they?
Monaco have got so much of the ball here.
And that was a game they won 6-1 and that was in the first half.
That was someone who hadn't seen them play very often.
And obviously, we see them play a lot, and we talk about that.
But at the moment, if they get a win, everything's hunky-dory, the players love it because they're playing the way they want to, but when things start to go wrong, that's when you need discipline, that's when you need work rate, that's when you need a defensive structure.
If you haven't got that, at some point, you will come unstuck.
He had a difficult game in midweek against Slavia Prague because they actually man-marked him.
And for the first 30 minutes he had the worst game I've seen him have for quite some while.
