And I just talked to the principal like a grownup.

Was this your first and only school interview?

Yeah.

Well, no, we had seen, I had to go to French school for one year or two.

So how did you know to do this rap to them?

Oh, I didn't.

She just saw everything that happened with them.

So then when she had me alone, and she had just been asking us about her, I said, this is my experience.

This is what it is.

Day in and day out, this is what I'm putting up with.

And so then she told my grandfather after, and this story now was told to me because they had a meeting, the grownups, but my mother likes to tell it, that they had a meeting after and the principal was like, we'll take the girl.

you know, will make room for the girl, but the, you know, the boys.

And my grandfather was like, it's a package deal.

Like, I got to school six more kids.

You got to take all four.

It's a package deal.
