I know our reporters believe this, but suddenly everything old is new again.

You've got to reintroduce a lot of these Socceroo heroes for people who didn't read that feature in the paper three weeks ago.

Oh, look, it really is.

And suddenly, you know, they've got new heroes.

I mean, you know, Nestor Irencunda, you know, I know he plays for Watford in England, but, you know, everyone.

I've been in the office about an hour, Gerard, and I've had three people come up to my desk and ask me about him.

I mean, that's wonderful.

And it's surging to a new level.

And, you know, maybe a draw will be enough in their next two games to get them through to the next round.

So, no, it's fascinating stuff.

But I love...

the one thing I loved about him yesterday was their fitness.

They were, they were, he had, when you might not be able to fill the most skilled team in the world, you know, like there's plenty of other teams with far names, but you can get them as fit as anyone.

And that's what he's done here.

And, and that energy would just really sparkled.
