Like the magnesium blood test is not very valuable because most of the magnesium in your body is stored in bones and other tissues.
It's not really like in your blood.
Further, sometimes those tests, all they're doing is measuring NAD in the plasma, not in the red blood cells.
So if you inject yourself with NAD and then you do a blood test, you're going to see NAD in the blood.
But NAD in the blood doesn't mean it's getting to the tissue.
It's got to get up into the red blood cells and then make its way across the blood-brain barrier or get into the lungs or the heart.
So it's not a great measure, but it's better than nothing.
And it's good as a baseline measure.
