some kind of mental health that might be not quite tuned into being prepared to play in obviously what is quite a rigorous and contact for AFL professional game.
Look, I wouldn't like to comment on that because I'm not part of the inner sanctum and the processes that went on before the game, but visually myself and I'm sure a lot of people that were watching the game and clearly a lot of media experts and people that work in the AFL saw a situation where a player wasn't fit and ready to be partaking in
AFL professional game.
It's very much a contact sport.
There's a lot of movement.
And with that movement, you know, somebody who's at the AFL level, their stealth and their ability and their skill to be able to move around on the football field and remain athletic is quite obvious.
When you're 1%, 2%, 3% off, then it stands out.
quite significantly.
And even as a viewer of that game, I could see that Elijah wasn't moving like he was at his peak in terms of physical presentation.
And as it turns out, the situation seems to be that his mental health impacted on his ability to physically get himself into the game as a professional footballer.
Oh, look, I think there definitely is a question of that.
And whether that occurred or not, again, I don't know.
And it hasn't been disclosed by Colton yet whether that occurred and no player has come out and made comments about that.
But obviously in a situation like this, it's a team situation.
You know, these are 23 very fit, very strong people going out together in a sense as an army to go into combat against another team.
And so there is that camaraderie that exists in football teams, you know, right down to the very basic community levels of football clubs where players look out for each other.
and players support each other because you are part of this unit, you're part of this team.
And even at a professional level, that camaraderie still exists.
So it was surprising that not more attention was kind of focused on Elijah, especially at the breaks in the play and
obviously at the quarter-time, half-time breaks, that people weren't going up to Elijah and interacting with him.
