An arctic lake smoke, as it's known, making its way all across the shores of Chicago.

The thing is, this has been going on for days.

We've had snarling at the airports, lake effect snow, squalls that have come in in over a dozen states, and millions of people that are in the throngs of this cold weather system that's happening.

Nearly 60 million people across about a dozen states in America right now are going through perhaps the coldest temperatures that everyone will experience this winter.
