And by getting such extreme angles, you can just be more effective basically.
The reason that most pitchers don't mess around with such extreme angles is because it makes it more difficult potentially to throw a strike.
But I've found that having the nastier pitch actually makes it easier to just throw the pitch in the middle of the zone.
And what happens, happens.
You don't need to be so fine with it because it's so deceptive.
So ultimately, I settled on throwing against right-handed hitters.
I throw exclusively from the third base side.
And at the moment, versus left-handed hitters, before two strikes, I stand on the first base side.
And then with two strikes, I switch over to the third base side.
it's basically one of the things where against lefties, if your pitches can't be as dominant, you know, just because of the way that physics works and righty lefty platoon splits, you kind of, the more of a kitchen sink you can throw at them, the better, you know, you can't just use the same tricks over and over again because they're not as effective.
And so that's been my strategy so far.
It's an ever shaping thing.
I'm already thinking about, well, what if I throw out, you know, I don't know.
So it's a,
At the moment, that's the strategy is swap back and forth depending on the count versus left-handed hitters.
Number one, I would say is just exactly how low my arm slot is.
Oh, thank you.
Yeah.
But yeah, so that, that's changed all, you know, like all years, like, well, how low do I, my sought to be how high, because you can get, you can get higher velocity, the higher you raise it.
And, um,
