You know, Fess didn't score a goal, Jari didn't score a goal, and yet we still got through.
So I think I'm looking at that as a real positive because those guys are going to score, but they didn't have to for us to win.
So that makes, I think, the group really feel good about, you know, where we are.
But it just seems like, I don't know, teams have a tough time finding their way through your guys' D. Well, we have a good group, obviously, and, you know, Jacob Slavin leads that group.
I mean, we missed him for half a year, which is probably the biggest story of the
of our season that we were able to kind of not miss a beat, hang in there while he was gone.
And then when he came back, our record was really good.
And it's amazing what one guy can do for your team back there.
But he leads the group on how he defends.
It's remarkable to watch him night in, night out.
And bringing in Keiondre Miller was also a big plus for our group.
It's the way he skates and the range he has and the competitiveness of Sean Walker.
I mean, he's an underrated player.
So you go down the list, Chatfield, too, the same.
You never hear his name, and yet I think all 31 other teams would love to have that guy.
And then Gosper had a great year.
So everyone kind of did their part, did what you would want out of them, and that's why we had a pretty good season, and I guess that's why you're talking to me still.
No, I don't do that.
I got enough time in the summer no matter what.
But we could.
