But if you look at news reel footage and still camera footage, what you see in the succession of photos is Ralph Yarborough, the senator from Texas, archenemy of Lyndon Johnson. Lady Bird Johnson, and Senator Johnson, or Vice President Johnson. And then in the next image, Johnson is missing. That's because he hits the deck prior to the first shot being heard.
