I thought he lost his confidence playing right field.
Now he goes into DH-ing last year and comes bringing Tuck.
And he worked at it.
He didn't just stay at DH.
He was out there working at his skills and getting himself back on track in right field.
And then Tuck goes down the second half with the injury, and he went out to right field because he was the obvious guy to do it.
He played great.
He did a great job in right field, and he, you know, made all the routine plays, made good plays.
He can throw a little bit, too, and next thing you know, you're looking and going, well, he's back on track.
He's okay.
I really think that's part of, you know, when you're looking at how you're going to make the team up, I think instantly, you know, as the season ended last year, they said, say he's the right fielder.
That's just the way it's going to be.
Unless something happened where Chuck was coming back, but say he was going to play defensively again.
He had earned that right.
And I think the right field conversation is important, not just because he spent over 100 games at DH last year, but for Seah, his production, Ron, was so much higher when he was a right fielder, hitting over 300, OPSing over 1,000 in those 139 plate appearances compared to a 745 OPS in the 102 games he was a DH.
How much do you think that carries over?
And I know different guys, that matters a lot that they are in the field versus...
stepping up and being engaged when their teammates are out there on defense?
Yeah, DH and, you know, everybody talks about how easy that is and it's great.
You don't have to play defense.
