So I had to figure out how I couldn't really just waste time or money with it.
You got to keep your own identity.
But I think as you get older, especially, it's nice to not consider yourself the main character in the story anymore.
And I'm well aware.
What I do is in service of my sons.
I'm here to prepare them to be the main characters.
I'm no longer the main character.
That was my very first acting role.
Yeah, just being in Portland doing stand up at the time that they were shooting it in Portland.
So they were nice enough that they used a lot of the local Portland comedians.
And I don't think I had a single line, but I made a lot of faces.
And they said some nice things about me that made it stand out a little bit and got me certainly interested in acting.
And then I had some auditions where I bombed terribly.
And then it gave me kind of the same feeling of bombing and stand up where I was like, oh, I'll show you.
So I got in the class and then just, you know, slowly got better.
Yeah, actually, it was, you know, doing stand up in L.A.
and people will cast and directors and things will come to different shows.
And I think someone heard my voice and it was a TV version of the DreamWorks movie Home.
