Give you, we are by no means experts.
Okay.
Lisa is much more of an expert than me, but no means experts.
So we're going to have a conversation for the next few minutes and talk about our journey with autism.
Maybe give you some ideas, some thoughts about,
on what we've learned and maybe what we would even have done different if we could do it all over again.
So Lisa, let's start out just by talking about, you know, you were educated as a teacher, all right?
And of course, I believe that God made you primarily to be a mom because you have great mom instincts.
And let me just tell you up front, I'm a leaker, so I could start crying during this.
I just want you to know that up front.
That's just that's just the way it is.
But tell us about, you know, the pregnancy with Daniel and kind of when he was first born, just kind of what what you saw, what you thought.
I was perfectly happy where I was.
Which is definitely unusual.
The only thing we knew about autism was Rain Man, the movie, I think, had been out or coming out.
Yeah, we started going to her three days a week to try to get his speech going so he could communicate.
I mean, what should moms look for, right?
I mean, because we know that early intervention is critical to how far they can progress.
And so what...
And a lot of moms, we don't want anything to be wrong with our kids.
