Like if I'm honestly, if I'm a coach these days, I'm honestly telling my players, I don't want to see a big hit.
If you scream out of the line and you, yeah, all the boys are going to be like, yeah, big hit or whatever, you're probably going to cost us a fucking quick play of the ball and everyone's past the ball now and they're going to be in behind us.
So it's like the, we have become like the rock and the spirit of rugby league, which is about physicality like that.
I think that, you know, being a guy that came from soccer into league, I've got a really good view on the special parts of rugby league that separated from other sports.
It is probably fitness and size mixed with each other.
That is a unique part of rugby league, but it's the toughness.
It's the mental toughness and the physical toughness.
And so it used to be, if you win that physical battle, you are rewarded for it in defense.
We are not rewarding players for winning that physical battle anymore.
And that's my concern heading into this one where, you know, I don't want to see touch footy just like this in origin.
