um the fact the amount of change that has happened like you've got to remember we had these crazy changes in 2001 21 and then they brought it all back to a uh to you know six against inside the 40 and they've tried to go back closer to the 2021 and i think that's gone too far so it's not that perfect at all like there's a lot to there's plenty to critique but i think if you're looking at a bird's eye view i think i would give it a tick and i'd be i'm happy with that does done for
Yeah, and I think also, like, the Six Again thing, like... Is that a South Dowling special, or...?
In regards to the six again, like I'm not in the camp of the six again is just bad.
Like guys, I think you're forgetting the game was getting to this grinding slow halt before the six again rule.
as anything it's you know it's not black and white it's in the middle somewhere it's it's a gray area and i think the six again like that's probably going to be the most contentious topic around his tenure i think another world thing as well as like and i say this respectfully but you know landy's is very involved with a lot of the things that happen in the game how much is it is landy saying this is what i want to do and abdo saying this is what i want to do you have to take that into consideration we've never really seen a chairman of the commission
be this aggressively involved in running the game and it's worked but you have to also remember that so if you're going to be critical and say you know um he wasn't good uh then you also have to go and say well how much of it was his you're going to say he was good you also have to say well also you know was it lenny's wasn't him that's something you got to consider i think as well with the six agains and they annoy me as well it's frustrating but you know you go back to 10 years ago like the conversation was the wrestlings running the game like
Well, that's been rugby league's magic.
Is it just embracing the fact that, hey, news is news.
Now, granted, we don't want to know that fucking weird stuff that's actually ethically bad.
But a bit of negativity, a bit of that, like that's what we've embraced as a game.
And it's something that, you know, I don't want to, you know, put the boot in a union who actually are doing quite well and turning things around.
But like, that's something I feel like union that was so averse to like, no, no negative, nothing.
And it, bro, it sells, it sells papers.
