His tried and trusted way of doing things is to go with the tried and trusted players and to lean into the players who've done it for him before because he puts a huge premium on players who've done it before and you can argue that how do you find new players if you keep picking the old ones?

He does have a good eye for a player and he brought Paddy McCarthy in during the last one and I suspect Edwin Adogbo could have a big role this time.

But I don't disagree with anything there in terms of the team has been in decline for the last two years.

2024 was not.

I don't think you can say they haven't played well since the World Cup.

They were excellent in Marseille the first year.

They were quite good in that Six Nations and played poorly in Twickenham but nearly won.

That would have been a grand slam.
