the lack of due process, the kind of, you know, they talk to 20 players, but like, were the questions the right questions?
You know, a lot of stuff appeared in the media before the trigger was pulled.
It's really interesting, but it also just, I think, diminishes or undermines their reputation.
And there's some stuff, you know, Artie Sevilla, like I think, as far as I'm aware, Robertson thought he was on really good standing with Artie Sevilla, but then,
You know, Sevilla was looking at a move to R360, then R360 gets pulled, that affects everything.
There's all sorts of little things going on behind the scenes that just undermine this veneer of high performance that they have.
And the coaching guru, Wayne Smith, the guy who's supposed to be the high performance expert for New Zealand rugby, he's widely regarded as the best coach
coaching mind in world rugby he wasn't consulted and he's come out and said having worked at scott robertson he thought that robertson could have got them to the world cup and things could have got much better and that's pretty damaging i think for a process that didn't involve him when he was supposed to be the expert so okay yeah so i've worked worked on it this week it's it's um it's been very interesting to hear from people over there to kind of understand what's going on donald lennon was making like similar points about munster this week the parochial
limerick cork thing needs to be really well all politics is local and every like we think these it's like you know you think the Beckhams are this picture perfect family but what's going on behind the scenes is like you know it's just the same as every other family like the New Zealand held themselves up that can't be your intro
Maybe John Green has tweaked it.
I don't think so.
It's like county board stuff.
Yes.
Oh, yeah.
A little bit.
Yeah, I don't know if Irish rugby is in a position to tell anyone else, and particularly New Zealand, how to run their ship.
But it's nice to know that other people are not running their ship perfectly either.
It's all good fun.
I think we've had, he's had like, Evan Ferguson, I think they were talking about him on Liveline when he was 14 and played against Chelsea.
Like Evan Ferguson has lived his life and the public eye since that moment that he came on and had an assist against Chelsea for Bowes.
