My son has been playing in the Panthers development lead for the first time this year, and last night he got to play on the Panthers ice during one of the intermissions. And to say it was maybe the proudest of Proud Papa moments I've had up until now is a bit of an understatement. It was really cool. I was actually on the ice with him. I got to stand there as he came onto the ice.

We're seeing pictures of it right now. He had this huge smile on his face. It was just an awesome, awesome moment, and I'm happy that I can share it with you guys. Just very cool, man.

I read, I don't know if this was accurate, but I read that they had exactly 895 fans for that practice. Wow. They had maximum tickets for it. Well, for the goals, right? Yeah. And they pull him after. He gives up a goal in his first shot. No, that's enough, kid. Come on off. What are they doing to that kid's confidence? When I read about this, I was very upset.
