And I could not explain how they were constructed.

Whatever they are, they're authentic, real, formally sentient beings that have highly advanced implants in their bodies and appear to show signs of some kind of intelligence.

And yet they're possibly thousands of years old.

So that's a real mystery in your face.

And there's been a real effort from the United States and sections of the Peruvian Ministry of Culture to try and discredit any attempt to investigate them.

And one of the things I know is if somebody's telling you it's not a story and that you shouldn't be looking at it, it's a bloody good story and it deserves investigation.
