The name of the show is The Hockey Show.
So let's start with the big news this week.
There were two trades that happened before the Olympic roster freeze hit.
The Blues traded Nick Buckstead to the Devils for Thomas Bordelot and a conditional fourth round pick.
Huge.
That was the second biggest trade of the two trades.
The second?
Yeah.
The other trade was the Rangers trading Artemi Panarin to the Kings for Liam Greentree and two conditional third-round picks in 2026.
The Kings then extended Panarin to a two-year contract worth $11 million per year.
The Rangers immediately got shut out at home by the Hurricanes.
So, Greg, please explain this trade.
Why the Kings?
Where do the Rangers go from here, which is probably first round draft pick?
To the lottery.
And will the top prospect in the Kings organization work out in New York?
How is this felony assault going to affect not only his draft stock, but his career coming up?
