Which I think is a little bit disappointing.
I know it's a bank holiday weekend and that always has a bit of a hit.
But on the back of two relatively small crowds for the round of 16 and the quarterfinal, it does feel like some of the buzz has gone out of it.
This is an EPCR game, but the pricing looks...
Fairly reasonable.
Some of them are quite expensive, like the best seats are about 90 euro, I think, but you can get tickets for 30, 40.
The Northside darts are off, which is obviously a hindrance for some people getting to the game.
But I don't think Leinster have done an awful lot to kind of promote the game themselves.
I think it's been largely left to EPC or to do it.
Certainly my Instagram feed is wall to wall ticket promotions, but then my Instagram will be fairly rugby heavy.
So I don't know if that's the case for everyone.
I've seen a bit of branding around the place.
But yeah, you'd like to see them cross at least the 40 mark for semi-final.
Usually they would get a huge crowd for these games, but it's trending towards 35.
And I think Leinster, things have changed in recent years.
They do tend to sell a lot more tickets the closer it comes to kickoff.
People seem to, maybe it's post-COVID, waiting until the day or check the weather forecast or see if they've anything better to do to come to games.
So there may be a bit of a surge closer to the time, maybe when people see the teams coming.
But I thought with Toulon being a big European name as well, the fact that it is a semi-final, I thought it would do better than it has.
But 35 is still a good crowd, I guess.
