The funny thing about Barger is last year, I think it was July and August, or it was August and September, whatever it was.
They basically benched him because he did a great playoff.
And, you know, he played well.
But the big guys in this lineup, Springer, Guerrero, I know he has a 300 average, but he's got to start hitting it.
On the pitching side, you know, there's a lot of pressure on the Savages and the Gossens.
They got to go seven innings because when you get these games, you know, guys, they haven't had a guy go more than five innings, a starter.
And I know there's been bullpen games in here, but they haven't had a starter go more than five innings since the first game in the Florida series.
That was the game with the, you know, defensive woes in left field, which he Savage pitch.
I think he went six or he went into the seventh or whatever it was.
But, you know, just remember, this bullpen is pitching a lot, and they also pitched a lot last year going to the World Series.
And that eventually takes a toll on you.
So they're going to have to get longer starts.
And hopefully she comes back soon and whoever else, whether it's Beaver or Scherzer, I don't even know.
But you've got to get longer.
It's like you can't keep on throwing the bullpen out there, you know, every day and just wearing these guys out because eventually it takes a toll on you.
