You know, you're not going to be able to.
And that is kind of what the trepidation you have going into something like this.
but I think one thing that Discworld has that really works in your favour is the characters play it straight in the world that's absolutely essential to fantasy humour yeah exactly so the adventures themselves as long as they're written and they've got plenty of time to get those adventures right so it's going to be a hard one to run an off the cuff adventure one shot but if you have an adventure written and crafted and is funny then
And it's the situations that are funny in Discworld.
It's the plots that are funny, but the characters are playing it straight, like they can't see why this is absurd, sort of thing.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
So I think Discworld has that strength in that you don't have to be incredibly witty to play it.
because it's the situations around you that are funny, rather than, you know, you don't have to be quipping constantly.
So I think it works.
I think it really works.
And I really enjoyed running it.
It was only a one-shot.
It was, what, three hours or something.
It was only a one-shot, but I really enjoyed running it.
Players seemed to enjoy it.
It was a relaxed, fun, rules-like experience.
It was fun.
I enjoyed it.
Can't argue with that.
All right.
