Like some kind of fey dragon maybe or something. Hmm. If it is a dragon.
Yeah.
Yeah.
As someone that spent a lot of money on one encounter.

Yeah. But here's an overview of the DMG. It mentions that the Bastion system is going to be in it from Erna Tharkana, and there's a whole separate video about that we can get into in a second. There's going to be a DM's toolkit arranged in alphabetical order, going from, apparently, alignment to traps. Mm-hmm. The whole gamut from A to T, right? Yep. So basically it's a glossary.

I mean, like, there's going to be a rules glossary in the Player's Handbook. There is. There's going to be. It's out now. A rules glossary in the Player's Handbook. So I guess it's similar to that, I guess. 400 new and improved magic items.

Stuff like Greyhawk, which we know about. The crafting rules are in it. A lore glossary. A full chapter about the D&D cosmology.

Yeah, it's got a lot of sort of generic GMing advice in there.

Not hitting it. It's quite interesting when you compare it to the AD&D 1e DMG, which is basically a big tome of rules that the players aren't supposed to see. And it even says in front of it that players shouldn't be allowed to look at these rules in this book. And it's just like all the rules. It's not advice-y. No. It's written in Gygaxian prose, so it can be quite dense to pass at times.

I remember when I was a kid, I'd sit in my bedroom and there was a section on invisibility. And I'd read it and reread it and reread it and reread it, trying to work out exactly how invisibility works. And it was like half a page of text. Yeah. trying to pass that half-painting test, trying to work out exactly. And I don't think I ever did figure it out.

Still to this day, yeah.
