Some people have gotten quite upset about that. They're saying, what, so I can't put a plague or have someone attack the Bastion or I can't do anything like that. It's designed as a player side thing that the DM apparently can't get involved in. Why would you put that in there?

Surely sometimes you want sort of like the neighbouring lord has taken offence to you and has sent troops to start raiding your bastion or something like that sort of storyline. Does it prevent that? Or I don't know.
