Yeah, and if you're going on a flight, I would just say there's some handy ones that are totally mess free.
So, you know, you're not expecting the cabin crew to kind of clean up, you know, mushed up crayons onto the floor.
So one I really like is the water magic ones.
So you've got a little colouring book and you have a pen that you fill with water.
And as you rub the pen over the page, the colour magically comes to life.
That's a really, really good one for keeping kids entertained.
And reusable sticker books, I cannot recommend enough.
I really like the Usborne ones.
But, you know, they're all pretty good.
You can get them for any theme.
So no matter what your kid is interested in, there's one there for them.
Yeah, yeah, there's loads.
Yeah, there's, and you know, every single theme.
Another good one actually for a flight is downloading an audio book.
They can keep kids entertained for a surprisingly long amount of time.

I definitely think Mary has a point.
I think definitely you don't need to, you know, get that dopamine hit going all the time.

Definitely in the past I've been guilty of looking like I'm moving house when I've been packing for holidays but too much choice actually overwhelms children so I think keep it small and also remember you have to have a lot of snack options so keep room in the bag for the snacks because some strategically timed snacks on a journey can really buy you an extra 20 minutes of peace.
