go ahead i i was just gonna say i legitimately like ryan picks on you about the difficulty level but i think the difficulty actually matters when it comes to the guns in the gameplay because i'm with you the cycler is my default go-to gun it will mow down all of the little guys you know i got some upgrades to it that can shock the bigger guys and chain lightning and stuff like that yeah

But on nightmare mode, especially with the heavily armored creatures, like I have to take a different tactic because I need to break their armor as fast as I can and try to take them out as fast as I can so that I'm not getting flanked and wrecked by four higher level demons that are all coming after me. Yes. Oh, my gosh. I freaking love the chain shot, dude. So the chain shot whips out a freaking cannonball. Basically, it's just a giant steel ball on a chain. And this gun launches this thing out at like Mach three. You can charge it up to get it like even more powerful hit on it.

Dude, the chain shot and watching that thing just shoot out, hit a demon, and then ricochet off the little chain goes slack. And that demon just staggers backwards is the greatest thing ever, man.

Well, we'll get into some of the upgrades too, for some of these weapons, but it's like, you can upgrade things too. So the chain shot fully upgraded is just an absolute beast. The way I approached it and John, I get it. Like, honestly, like I kind of almost had to at one point in the game, make myself use some of the other weapons.

It is a valid point to be honest, because it's like, you know, once you get the cycler, it's like that takes out most things. And then I just run up with the super shoddy couple shots at most and boom, they're dead. Yeah. I will say that varying up the gameplay a little bit really enhanced it for me. But, again, playing on harder difficulty kind of forces you into some of that, too.
