I would be willing to bet that Bungie probably had some sort of, you know, rational response like, hey. hey, man, this is a big mess up. I'm sorry. Here's a settlement of a couple hundred K or whatever.

So Bungie did come out and apologize. It's funny because I saw the initial tweet from this person that said, hey, Bungie stole my artwork. And this was before the poop hit the fan, like legitimately. And I went, wow, really? Like somebody's claiming they stole their art. And then lo and behold, two days later, Bungie's responding, going like, yeah, this is bad, guys. We didn't know about this.

Here's the problem.

Bungie is just not in a good place. And again, this kind of goes back to companies and their clientele, man. Like, you know, Bungie took a lot of flack with Destiny players for selling expansion content and then pulling it back. Do they have the right to do that? Is there a reason behind that? I'm sure there is.

And so you protect your reputation at all costs with people. And right now, Bungie's reputation is in the crapper, dude.

Not only from what they did with Destiny and the walking back of content that they sold to people and then pulled away from those people. There was a lot of people that said, Hey, listen, marathon, not doing it for me. You know, is it an okay game? Yeah, it's fine. Like, you know, I don't think anybody said the game is garbage, but what people have said is it's just not that impressive to me.
