We are proud to name Ryan Johnson as the 13th general manager of the Vancouver Canucks.

I think it's a strength that we've been a part of all aspects of the organization.

I think we see what's needed.

I think we know the strength of this organization.

Obviously, moving forward with all the prospects, draft picks, player development is going to be a huge part of this journey.

So that's obviously one thing we're looking to make better.

So, yeah, as a player...

We know the fans.

We know what they want.

We know you guys.

I think we can have an honest discussion with you guys.

So I think it's just a positive to have been a part of everything.

Like I said, we've been fans too, so we see it from all different sides.

I think ownership came to us when it became clear that GM was going to step out, step away a little bit, and we had a lot of great discussions with them where they saw this going.

They did a very big search for the next GM, and
