So theoretically, your bullpen should be in decent shape as long as Trey Savage can give you a reasonable start on Friday.
But yeah, the next time that rolls around.
It could be a tough one.
Because I probably... Sorry, go ahead.
You include your Savage in the three guys that you trust, but I think they're going to be very careful with pitch counts and, you know, how many innings he goes.
And there's a reason that they're not, you know, you Savage is set to start Friday, so he's fine.
But, you know, there's a reason with the entire staff that they're not moving things up.
so that, you know, Gosman would start Saturday and it would continue on from there because outside of you Savage, it's also an older group.
You don't want to necessarily extra toll Kevin Gosman and certainly not Patrick Corbin and things like that.
So it gets dicey in a hurry there if one more thing happens.
Jonah, before we let you go, I don't know when the next time I will talk to you is.
So we have to do our annual, and it does feel like annual.
This is the fifth year of this show.
I think it's probably the 10th time we've had this conversation.
When you look at what's happening with Vladimir Guerrero Jr., are you seeing anything specific?
And then second part to that question, given that every year there seems to be one or two instances where this conversation comes up, and it is frustrating and it's real, that doesn't mean it's not happening, the struggles aren't there, and a couple good at-bats yesterday, but...
It is almost a certainty he will find his way out of it.
That doesn't mean it's going to happen imminently.
Where are you with Vlad right now?
You'd rather swing and miss almost on the bad stuff you're swinging at.
