But that's the point.
Anyway, it was lovely to reconnect because I had time.
For the last 20 years, I've been doing a radio show every morning.
I wouldn't be able to do this.
It's Friday morning, early.
And I was just constantly on the hamster's wheel.
Radio, radio, radio, radio, TV, TV, TV, TV, radio, radio, radio, TV, TV, TV, green room, ha, ha, ha, next day, recover, mad night, get to Sunday, okay, get ready for Monday.
It was intense, but I always felt the green room was like my house at a dinner party.
I always felt the guest's experience had to include a good post-show experience as well.
This is how proprietorial I felt about the late, late.
It was like you're coming to a dinner party in my house, and I want you to be happy and do photographs with everyone.
And the bar was running, and you should never feel like you have to run off.
And Yvonne ran the green room and she knew, she knew by me, she'd say, oh, he's tired or he's stuck over there.
