Brideshead Revisited is a beautiful book and it's heavy enough to get through because it's so old fashioned in some ways.

But that series, which came out in the early 80s on ITV or whatever it was called, is kind of available to watch.

You can get a box set or wherever you get your stuff.

Treat yourselves, especially kind of winter.

It's so amazing.

The two, Jeremy Irons and Anthony Andrews.

And Laurence Olivier plays the kind of the pater familias as well.

It is so English.

And the sig tune to Brideshead Revisited, downloaded on Spotify later on, it's about two minutes, is one of my favorite sig tunes I've ever heard, ever, ever, ever.

Because it's just so evocative of dreaming spires and summer on the lawn.

Not that I was ever near a dreaming spire or a summer on the lawn, but you know what I mean, from the old books.

That's what I'm talking about.
