And the play is on the West End or has been.
But this time I went to see Robert Bathurst played him.
And we were sitting at the bar waiting for the play to start.
And the next thing he stumbles down the stairs behind the bar and just goes, oh, fuck.
And you look over and there he is with a glass and a cigarette.
And you go, fuck.
So-so's gone to the bloody dock.
And it begins.
That's how the play begins.
And he's kind of half-cut wandering around the pub telling stories.
It's really good.
He's great.
You know him from Cold Feet and Downton Abbey.
So that was a great old night.
And it was a really interesting way to see a play.
